    Hi Amir,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble signing in to Copilot on Microsoft Edge for Android. It sounds like you may be encountering an error message that says "The account cannot be the same type as(2217)." This error message typically appears when you're trying to sign in with a work or school account that is already associated with another Microsoft service, such as Microsoft Teams or Office 365.

To resolve this issue, you can try signing in to Copilot with a personal Microsoft account instead of a work or school account. If you don't have a personal Microsoft account, you can create one for free by visiting the Microsoft account sign-up page.

Here are some steps that might help you resolve the issue:

    1. Ensure that you have the latest version of the Microsoft Edge app installed on your device. You can download it from the Google Play Store.
    2. Sign out of your Microsoft account from the Edge app and sign in again. Make sure that you're using the same account that you used to sign in to Copilot.
    3. Clear the cache and cookies of the Edge app and try signing in again.
    4. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Edge app on your device.

If you're still having trouble signing in to Copilot after trying these steps, please let me know and I'll do my best to assist you further.

    Your Sincerely

I agree. I am paying $25.00 actually $31.00 in Canada for Copilot and have used it in my Office 365. Since I can't get my problem resolved and be able to pay for Copilot, it won't be long before it no longer works and it's Microsofts fault.

It says, "sign in with another account" and "verify your age". I tried to do both, but it didn't change.
