Värdet för DateEnd egenskapen är ett datumvärde utan en tidskomponent.
Eftersom slutdatumet för den aktuella justeringsregeln vanligtvis inte är känt kan du tilldela DateTime.MaxValue.Date egenskapen DateEnd när du skapar en anpassad justeringsregel.
Important
Om det inte finns en övertygande anledning att göra något annat bör du definiera att justeringsregelns slutdatum ska ske inom det tidsintervall under vilket tidszonen observerar standardtiden. Om det inte finns en övertygande anledning att göra det bör du inte definiera att justeringsregelns slutdatum ska ske inom tidsintervallet då tidszonen observerar sommartid. Om en tidszons övergång från sommartid till exempel inträffar den tredje söndagen i mars och övergången till sommartid inträffar den första söndagen i oktober, bör det gällande slutdatumet för justeringsregeln inte vara den 31 december ett visst år, eftersom det datumet inträffar inom perioden för sommartid.
Som standard definierar registret i Windows XP en enda justeringsregel vars slutdatum är fredagen den 31 december 9999 (värdet för DateTime.MaxValue.Date) för varje tidszon. För tidszoner i United States definierar registret i Windows Vista två justeringsregler:
Måndag, Januari 01, 0001, till söndag, December 31, 2006.
Måndag, Januari 01, 2007, till fredag, December 31, 9999.
Det innebär att även om tidszonsjusteringsregler som lagras i registret är användbara för att utföra aktuella tidszonsrelaterade åtgärder, kan de inte användas på ett tillförlitligt sätt för att hämta historisk tidszonsinformation.
