När SynchronizingObject är nullanropas metoder som hanterar Exited händelsen på en tråd från systemtrådspoolen. Mer information om systemtrådspooler finns i ThreadPool.

När händelsen Exited hanteras av en visuell Windows Forms komponent, till exempel en Button, kanske det inte fungerar att komma åt komponenten via systemtrådspoolen, eller så kan det leda till ett undantag. Undvik detta genom att ange SynchronizingObject till en Windows Forms komponent, vilket gör att metoderna som hanterar händelsen Exited anropas på samma tråd som komponenten skapades på.

Om Process används i Visual Studio 2005 i en Windows Forms designer, ställs SynchronizingObject automatiskt in på den kontroll som innehåller Process. Om du till exempel placerar en Process på en designer för Form1 (som ärver från Form) SynchronizingObject är egenskapen Process för inställd på instansen av Form1:
