Som standard innehåller en skuggkopia alla sammansättningar som hittas genom avsökning. Metoden SetShadowCopyPath begränsar skuggkopian till sammansättningarna i de kataloger som anges av path.

Metoden SetShadowCopyPath anger inte ytterligare kataloger som ska sökas efter sammansättningar. Sammansättningar som ska skuggkopieras måste redan finnas i sökvägen, till exempel under BaseDirectory. Metoden SetShadowCopyPath anger vilka sökvägar som är berättigade till skuggkopiering.
