Observações

O perfil ASP.NET é usado para armazenar e recuperar as definições do utilizador numa fonte de dados, como uma base de dados. O perfil do utilizador é acedido usando a Profile propriedade do atual HttpContext. A informação do perfil e os valores das propriedades são geridos através de um fornecedor de perfis.

A ProfileManager classe é usada para gerir definições de perfis, pesquisar perfis de utilizador e eliminar perfis de utilizador que já não estão em uso. A ProfileManager classe fornece métodos estáticos e propriedades que podem ser acedidos referenciando a ProfileManager classe no seu código de aplicação. Para um exemplo, veja a secção Exemplo neste tópico e exemplos adicionais nos tópicos para os membros da ProfileManager turma.

Por defeito, o perfil de utilizador está desativado para todas as aplicações ASP.NET. Para ativar o perfil de utilizador, defina o enabled atributo do elemento de configuração do perfil para true, como mostrado no exemplo seguinte.

Um fornecedor de perfil é usado para armazenar e recuperar propriedades no perfil do utilizador. .NET Framework inclui uma classe SqlProfileProvider que armazena propriedades do perfil do utilizador numa base de dados SQL Server. Uma SqlProfileProvider instância nomeada AspNetSqlProvider é especificada na configuração da máquina como o fornecedor de perfil predefinido. A instância AspNetSqlProvider liga-se à base de dados SQL Server no servidor Web local. Pode especificar um SqlProfileProvider que se liga a outro SQL Server como fornecedor de perfil predefinido, usando o elemento de configuração providers e o atributo defaultProvider do elemento de configuração profile, como mostrado no exemplo seguinte.
