In het volgende codevoorbeeld ziet u hoe u een ColorDialog objectinstelling initialiseert met de AnyColorAllowFullOpen eigenschappen. Het ColorDialog object staat de gebruiker niet toe om een aangepaste kleur in te stellen, maar hiermee kan de volledige set basiskleuren worden weergegeven. Door de SolidColorOnly eigenschap in te stellen op onwaar, kan de weergave van kleuren die combinaties zijn van andere kleuren op systemen met 256 of minder kleuren. In het voorbeeld ziet u ook het instellen van de ShowHelp eigenschap en het afhandelen van een HelpRequest gebeurtenis voor een dialoogvenster. Als u het voorbeeld wilt uitvoeren, plakt u de volgende code in een formulier en roept u de InitializeColorDialog methode aan in de constructor of Load methode van het formulier. Voor dit voorbeeld is vereist dat de Click gebeurtenis van de knop is verbonden met de gebeurtenis-handler die in het voorbeeld is gedefinieerd.
