De ClaimType eigenschap kan een van de vooraf gedefinieerde claimtypen zijn die worden vertegenwoordigd door de statische eigenschappen van de ClaimTypes klasse.

Claimtypen geven het type claim op dat wordt assertie, zoals een e-mailadres.
