Hiermee haalt u het Unicode-teken op dat wordt vertegenwoordigd door het huidige ConsoleKeyInfo object.

Een object dat overeenkomt met de consolesleutel die wordt vertegenwoordigd door het huidige ConsoleKeyInfo object.
Voorbeelden
In het volgende voorbeeld wordt de KeyChar eigenschap gebruikt om de tekens die door de gebruiker in een tekenreeks worden ingevoerd, toe te voegen. In het voorbeeld worden speciale sleutels genegeerd dan ENTER, ESC en BACKSPACE.

Als de toets die is ingedrukt, niet is toegewezen aan een Unicode-teken (bijvoorbeeld als de gebruiker op de F1-toetsof de starttoets drukt), is de waarde van de KeyChar eigenschap \U0000.
