Opmerkingen

De Read methode blokkeert de retour terwijl u invoertekens typt. Deze wordt beëindigd wanneer u op de Enter toets drukt. Als u op Enter drukt, wordt een platformafhankelijke regelafbrekingsreeks toegevoegd aan uw invoer (bijvoorbeeld Windows een regelterugloopreeks toevoegt). Volgende aanroepen naar de Read methode halen uw invoer één teken tegelijk op. Nadat het laatste teken is opgehaald, Read blokkeert u de terugkeer en herhaalt de cyclus.

Important

De ReadLine methode, of de KeyAvailable eigenschap en ReadKey methode hebben de voorkeur aan het gebruik van de Read methode.

Houd er rekening mee dat de methode geen -1 retourneert, tenzij u een van de volgende acties uitvoert:

  • Druk tegelijkertijd op de Control wijzigingstoets en Z consoletoets (Ctrl+Z), die de voorwaarde einde van het bestand aangeeft. Als u Windows gebruikt, moet u ook op de consoletoets Enter drukken.

  • Druk op een equivalente toets die de voorwaarde einde van het bestand aangeeft, zoals de F6-functietoets in Windows.

  • De invoerstroom omleiden naar een bron, zoals een tekstbestand, dat een werkelijk einde van het bestand teken heeft.
