Een ConsoleColor die de voorgrondkleur van de console aangeeft; dat wil gezegd de kleur van elk teken dat wordt weergegeven. De standaardwaarde is grijs.

In het volgende voorbeeld worden de waarden van de ConsoleColor opsomming opgeslagen in een matrix en worden de huidige waarden van de BackgroundColor en ForegroundColor eigenschappen opgeslagen in variabelen. Opmerkingen

Een get-bewerking voor een op Windows gebaseerde toepassing, waarin een console niet bestaat, retourneert Gray. Unix-systemen bieden geen algemeen mechanisme om de huidige consolekleuren op te halen. ForegroundColor Retourneert (ConsoleColor)-1 daarom totdat deze expliciet is ingesteld (met behulp van de setter).
