I did open a case at Microsoft support, the engineer told me to not use WAC for this and do it manually. Enjoy

Hello everyone,
I'm having the following problem when creating a 2-node HA cluster (Server 2025) using the Windows Admin Center. Up to the point ‘Validate Cluster’ everything worked fine. Unfortunately, the process gets stuck at ‘1% Gathering data about nodes’. However, I can confirm that the cluster report was successfully created on the first node without any errors. But still, in WAC, the progress bar stops at 1%.
Has anyone else seen something similar and, ideally, have a solution for me?

Networking was verified and everything was working as expected, but the cluster validation process got stuck at 1% and It never finished. Finally, I used the previous 2311 version and it worked. The executable file is found on this link: https://www.manageengine.com/products/desktop-central/patch-management/Windows-Admin-Center/WindowsAdminCenter2311.html. You can use it as your own risk.

I was able to narrow down the problem to the Windows Admin Center (WAC) Version 2410. Permissions such as CredSSP, Remote Powershell and WinRM are correctly implemented on the WAC gateway and nodes.
If you have the option of using an old version of WAC (e.g. version 2311), it might work. Unfortunately, I couldn't find an installer for it, otherwise I would validate it. 😮💨

During my research I found the validation files are generated in C:\Windows\Cluster\Reports they are up to date and don't seem to have any issue (except for RDMA in our case, wrong network cards has been ordered). So I don't know what the system is waiting for and where to put the files.

The language of both nodes, as well as the WAC, is English. The Powershell command
Test-Cluster -Node $ServerList -Include "Storage Spaces Direct", "Inventory", "System Configuration"can be executed without problems. Just to be on the safe side, I copied your English command and executed it again without any problems.
