ControlType.GetControlType Method (String, String)

Returns a control type object by using the provided name and friendly name. If it does not exist, creates a new control type by using the provided name and friendly name.

Parameters

• name
  Type: String

  The name of the control type to return.

• friendlyName
  Type: String

  The friendly name of the control type to create if the named control type does not exist.

Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UITesting.ControlType
A control type object.
