Builds a string version of an identifier.

Parameters

• typeName
  Type: System.String

  The name of a data object type.

• identifierParts
  Type: array<System.String[]

  An array of identifier parts in the expected format.

• format
  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data.Services.DataObjectIdentifierFormat

  A value from the enumeration DataObjectIdentifierFormat indicating the format of the string.

Return Value

Type: System.String
A string version of an identifier.

Remarks

The enumeration DataObjectIdentifierFormat has the following values: None, Default, WithQuotes, and ForDisplay.
