IVsActivityLog.LogEntryGuidHr Method

Makes a log entry specifying entry type, package name, event text, a GUID to store in the event record, and an HRESULT to store in the event record.

Parameters

actType
Type: System.UInt32

[in] Type of log entry, a value from the __ACTIVITYLOG_ENTRYTYPE enumeration.

pszSource
Type: System.String

[in] Pointer to a string containing the name of the package or component making the call.

pszDescription
Type: System.String

[in] Pointer to a string describing the event.

guid
Type: System.Guid

[in] A GUID to include in the event record.

hr
Type: System.Int32

[in] An HRESULT to include in the event record.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.
