How to: Add a Web Service as a Data Source (Devices)

You can add a Web service as a data source in your smart device projects.

To connect your application to a Web service

1. On the Data menu, click Add New Data Source.

2. On the Choose a Data Source Type page, select Web Service, and then click Next.

3. Add a reference to the desired Web service using the Add Web Reference Dialog Box.

4. Click Finish.

   The data source is added to the Data Sources window.

To add a data source to your form

• Select items in the Data Sources window and drag them onto a Windows Form to create bound controls. For more information, see Displaying Data Overview.
