Remarks

Visual Studio Tools for Office creates an instance of the RibbonGroup class for you when you drag a Group from the Office Ribbon Controls tab of the Toolbox onto the Ribbon Designer.

You can use this constructor to add a group to a tab at run time, but only before the Ribbon is loaded. Create an instance of the RibbonGroup class, and then add the new RibbonGroup to the Groups collection of a tab. For more information, see Ribbon Object Model Overview.
