I följande exempel definieras en klass MyInstallClass, som skapar händelseloggen och kopierar egenskaperna för händelseloggkomponenten till EventLogInstaller. Den kontrollerar också om ServiceInstaller kan utföra samma typ av installation som EventLogInstaller.
