Note

Recomendamos que crie instâncias XmlWriter usando o método XmlWriter.Create e a classe XmlWriterSettings para aproveitar a nova funcionalidade.

A indentação é realizada nos seguintes tipos de nós: DocumentType, Element, Comment, ProcessingInstruction, e CDATASection. Todos os outros tipos de nós não são afetados. O XmlTextWriter não indenta o subconjunto interno DTD. No entanto, pode fazer o seguinte para aplicar formatação ao subconjunto interno de DTD.
