DateCreated Property

Returns the date and time that the specified file or folder was created. Read-only.

Syntax

object.DateCreated 

Remarks

The object is always a File or Folder object.

The following code illustrates the use of the DateCreated property with a file:

{
   var fso, f, s;
   fso = new ActiveXObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject");
   f = fso.GetFile(filespec);
   s = "Created: " + f.DateCreated;
   return(s);
}
