Microsoft.VisualStudio.SharePoint.Commands Namespace

The Microsoft.VisualStudio.SharePoint.Commands namespace contains types you can use to create custom SharePoint commands.

A SharePoint command is a method that can be used to call APIs in the SharePoint server object model from an extension for the SharePoint tools in Visual Studio. For more information, see Calling into the SharePoint Object Models and How to: Create a SharePoint Command.

	SharePointCommandAttribute	Indicates that a method is a SharePoint command.
	SharePointCommandServices	Represents services that can be used in a SharePoint command implementation.

Interfaces

	ISharePointCommandContext	Provides the context in which a SharePoint command is being executed.
	ISharePointCommandLogger	Represents the logging service for SharePoint commands.

Enumerations

	Enumeration	Description
	LogCategory	Specifies where messages written by using the SharePoint log service appear in the Output window and Error List window.
