The EntityDataSource toolbox item is automatically included in the Data control group with the other Microsoft data source controls. The EntityDataSource dynamically references the designer assembly. Drag and drop functionality makes it easy to add the design time control to a Web application design surface.
The following illustration shows the EntityDataSource toolbox item. To add the EntityDataSource control to an application, drag the icon from the toolbox to the design surface of the Web application.
