De halg parameter kan een String, a HashAlgorithmof a Typeaccepteren. De tekenreekswaarde kan een van de volgende zijn:
De object-id (OID) beschrijvende naam van het hash-algoritme dat moet worden gebruikt, ofwel een naam die is geregistreerd in het crypto-configuratiebestand of een naam in de crypto-API OID-tabel.
De OID-waarde. De OID moet worden herkend door de Crypto-API.
U kunt bijvoorbeeld SignData(new byte[5], "1.3.14.3.2.26") of SignData(new byte[5], "sha1") of SignData(new byte[5], "SHA1") gebruiken.
