If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code. Repeated calls to LaunchDialog close and re-launch the dialog rather than generating an error.

The environment's implementation of the IVsFindCancelDialog interface is thread-aware, so you may use the LaunchDialog method without regard to whether your calling process is on the foreground or background thread.
