How to: Locate an Object in a Domain-Specific Language Diagram

In DSL Explorer, you can use the Locate in Diagram command to locate a specific object in a diagram for a domain-specific language. This approach can be useful if a diagram becomes large and cluttered with many objects.

You can find the Locate in Diagram command under the following nodes in DSL Explorer:

  • Connectors

  • Diagram

  • Domain Classes

  • Domain Relationships

  • Shapes

  • Xml Serialization Behavior

To locate an object in a diagram for a domain-specific language

  1. In DSL Explorer, display the object that you want to locate. For example, expand the Domain Classes node, and click a domain class.

  2. Right-click the object, and click Locate in Diagram.

    The object is highlighted in the diagram.
