The Components Diagram sample shows you how to nest shapes, restrict the connections that a user can make, and make shapes with multi-line text fields.

To build and run the sample
Open the Example.Components.sln solution.
The default location is Drive:\Program Files\Visual Studio 2008 SDK\BuildNumber\VisualStudioIntegration\Samples\DSLTools\Example. DesignerCustomizations\Example.Components\Example.Components.sln.
Press F5 to build the sample, register it in the experimental hive, and start an instance of the Visual Studioexperimental build.
Requirements
To use this sample, you must:
Install Visual Studio 2008.

Install the Visual Studio 2008 SDK.
