How to: Add a Domain Type Descriptor

In DSL Explorer, you can use the Connectors node to add custom domain type descriptors as demonstrated in the following procedure. After you add a domain type descriptor, you can add property paths. For more information, see How to: Add a Property Path to a Domain Type Descriptor.

In DSL Explorer, you can add domain type descriptors under the following nodes:

To add a domain type descriptor

  1. Right-click the node to which you want to add a domain type descriptor, and click Add New DomainTypeDescriptor.

    An entry that is named Paths of Custom Property Descriptors appears under the Custom Type Descriptor node.

  2. Add property paths to the domain type descriptor. For more information, see How to: Add a Property Path to a Domain Type Descriptor.
