Create an inventory model group for capital items (India)

This procedure walks you through creating an inventory model group for capital items. Inventory issues are settled against the first receipts into inventory, based on the physical date of the inventory transaction. You can use a FIFO inventory model group to mark inventory transactions. The demo data company used to create this procedure is INMF.

To create an inventory model group for capital items (India), follow these steps:

  1. Go to Inventory management > Setup > Inventory > Item model groups.
  2. Select New.
  3. In the Item model group field, type a value.
  4. In the Name field, type a value.
  5. In the Inventory model field, select an option.
  6. Select Save.
