Business value
Integrate proprietary systems, dynamic knowledge sources, and custom actions into your agentic workflows with MCP support, accelerating extensibility while preserving workflow reliability. This integration improves reuse across agents and workflows, reduces duplication of integrations, and embraces an emerging open and extensible agent ecosystem.
Feature details
Model context protocol (MCP) support allows agent workflows to discover and invoke MCP‑compliant tools and knowledge servers as workflow steps.
Agent workflows can pass structured inputs to MCP tools and consume structured outputs downstream, enabling deterministic orchestration around agent‑extensible capabilities. This functionality makes it possible to use the same MCP server across multiple agents and workflows, align with emerging agent standards, and avoid bespoke connector development for every system.
MCP tools execute under existing workflow governance, monitoring, and lifecycle management, ensuring enterprise‑grade control.
