Hi there,

I've signed up for Microsoft 365 Developer Programme and received a Welcome email and the hyperlink leading to my dashboard, however there has been an issue where I could not access the dashboard. The issue is as the picture following.

I would want to develop skills around Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) and other relevant elements such as SharePoints and Teams so the ability to access these to learn and build personal projects are very vital for my self learning.

Are you able to help with this issue, please?

Thank you.

    Hi @Hang Tran

Thank you for sharing your concerns.

First, I’d like to clarify that this is a user‑to‑user support forum. Moderators participating here do not have access to backend systems, nor can we directly intervene in Microsoft product functionality. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance and sharing best‑practice recommendations based on reported issues, requests, and scenarios.

As far I know, the error Code 41101 when signing in to the Microsoft 365 Developer Dashboard typically indicates an issue specific to the Developer Program enrollment or profile state.

To rule out any local or browser‑related issues, please first try basic troubleshooting steps such as clearing your browser cache and cookies, signing in manually using an InPrivate/Incognito window, or testing with a different browser. Additionally, please avoid accessing the dashboard via the link in the email and instead navigate to it directly.

The error message indicates that the account being used to sign in is not supported for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program dashboard.

    To resolve this:

    1. Verify that the correct type of account is being used
      • Sign-in options that are not supported for joining or accessing the Microsoft 365 Developer Program include:
        • Phone number sign-in.
        • Email accounts with the *.onmicrosoft.com domain.
      • Use either:
        • A Microsoft account (consumer MSA), or
        • A Microsoft Entra–enabled work or school email that is not *.onmicrosoft.com.
    2. Rejoin or access the program with a supported email
      • Go to the Join the Microsoft 365 Developer Program page and choose Sign in.
      • Sign in with a supported Microsoft account or Microsoft Entra–enabled email (not *.onmicrosoft.com and not phone-number–based).
      • Remember this email; it is the member ID used to access the Developer Program dashboard.
    3. Use the correct ID for each step
      • Developer Program dashboard sign-in: use the member ID (the Microsoft account or Microsoft Entra–enabled email used when joining the program).
      • Developer subscription sign-in (once provisioned): use the administrator ID that is created during subscription setup; this is different from the member ID.

If the current account is *.onmicrosoft.com or phone-number–based, create or use a different supported account and join/sign in again as described above.
