How to register for Developer program

To register for the Microsoft 365 Developer Program, you can follow the standard online registration process. Go to the Microsoft 365 Developer Program Join page and click Sign in (top right).

• Log in using a Microsoft account, Entra-enabled email, phone number, or *.onmicrosoft.com account.
• Click “Join now” after signing in.
• Fill in your basic details: contact email, country/region, and company.
• Accept the terms and conditions (required), optionally opt into communications, then click Next.
• Set your preferences (industry, app types, technologies) and click Join to complete signup and access your dashboard.

Based on the information in those sections, the E5 developer subscription is primarily available to:

• Visual Studio Professional or Enterprise subscribers (automatic qualification)
• Companies in ISV Success / Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program eligible tiers
• Organizations with Premier or Unified Support (via their Microsoft contacts)
