Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are both subscriptions showing when you sign in here https://account.microsoft.com/services?
    2. Also, are the two subscriptions under the same Microsoft account, or are they under two different email accounts?

Sometimes this happens if a subscription was purchased using a different Microsoft account.

Please check the Services & subscriptions page and let me know:

    • The names of the subscriptions you see (for example Microsoft 365 Personal or Family)
    • Whether they show under the same account or different accounts.

Once we confirm that, I can guide you on how to cancel the extra one.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

To keep only one Microsoft 365 subscription, first decide which one to keep, then cancel the other. Canceling a subscription does not delete the Microsoft account itself.

Follow these steps for each Microsoft account that might have a subscription:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
    2. Sign in with one of the email addresses used with Microsoft 365.
    3. Under Services & subscriptions, look for any Microsoft 365 subscription.
    4. For the subscription that should be stopped, select Manage and then Cancel subscription.
    5. Repeat the sign-in steps with any other email address used (for example, a second Outlook, Hotmail, or Gmail-based Microsoft account) and cancel any extra Microsoft 365 subscription there as well.

After cancellation, the subscription runs until its paid-through date, then stops renewing. The Microsoft account and email address remain available.

If charges are unclear or if access to one of the accounts is lost, contact Microsoft Billing Support from the official support site for help reviewing and correcting duplicate charges.
