Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Thanks for the screenshot. I see you are accessing Outlook on the web.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. After you enter your password, what exactly happens?
    2. Does it reload the same page again or stay on a blank loading page?

In the meantime, if you haven’t already already:

    • Close the browser completely, then reopen it and sign in again.
    • If the issue persists, clear the browser cache and cookies, then try again.
    • You can also try signing in using an InPrivate/Incognito window.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

Use the automated Outlook/Office 365 troubleshooting first, then repair the local Office/Outlook installation if needed.

    1. Run the Outlook account/profile diagnostics
      • Go to the “Fix Outlook account problems in Office 365 for business” support page.
      • Sign in with the Microsoft 365 business account.
      • Let the tool scan for issues with the Outlook profile, license, and mailbox connection (for example, loops when signing in or being unable to load the mailbox).
      • Apply any fixes it suggests, then close and reopen Outlook and sign in again.
    2. If Outlook still won’t load after sign‑in
      • Fully close Outlook and all Office apps.
      • From Windows “Apps & Features” (or “Programs and Features”), run a Quick Repair or Online Repair of Microsoft 365 Apps.
      • If repair does not help, uninstall Microsoft 365 Apps from “Apps & Features”, restart the PC, then reinstall Microsoft 365 from the subscription portal and sign in again.
    3. If Outlook opens but keeps prompting for a password or shows “Need Password”
      • Use the same diagnostics link mentioned above to check for profile and connection issues.
      • If using an older Outlook build, verify the account’s “Logon network security” is set to Anonymous Authentication as described in the password‑prompt article.

If the loop persists after diagnostics and a clean reinstall, contact Microsoft Support from the Microsoft 365 portal so they can check the account and service side.
