messages from Cloud Team announcing my account will be blocked

Hi,

I keep receiving messages saying that my account will be blocked and my pics erased by 3/31 if I do not renew my stockage plan

in fact my account will be blocked as of 3/15.

How do I know if this is a scam or not?

    Hello

    Where is the email from?

    A legitimate email from Microsoft regarding your account should come from domains ending in @accountprotection.microsoft.com

    If you go to your account https://account.live.com > subscriptions, do you have any subscription plan that's expiring in 3 days?
