Side bar disappeared

Based on your description, I’d like to confirm a few settings that commonly affect the visibility of items in the Microsoft Teams left navigation bar.

First, could you please confirm whether you can see the Teams icon on the left navigation bar?

Next, please double‑check the Chats and channels view setting:

1. Select the three dots (…) in Teams
2. Go to Settings > Chats and channels
3. Make sure Viewing chats and channels is set to Combine

Also, please check the View more apps (three dots) section on the left navigation bar:

• Do you see items such as Chat, Calendar, or other missing apps there?
• If so, right‑click each item and select Pin to add it back to the left navigation bar

In Microsoft Teams, the main left-hand sidebar (Activity, Chat, Teams, Calendar, etc.) can appear very small if the app is zoomed out.

To make the sidebar visible and larger again:

1. In the Teams desktop or web app, click anywhere in the window to focus it.
2. Press Ctrl and + (plus) together a few times.
   • Each press increases the zoom level and makes the sidebars and channel list larger and easier to see.
3. If needed, use Ctrl and 0 (zero) to reset zoom back to default.

This zoom behavior in Teams affects the sidebars rather than the entire page, which helps restore a tiny or hard‑to‑see sidebar.
