Sharing webpages within Microsoft Edge browser

Did you share it previously by right-clicking the Tab and then clicking Send to?

As a workaround, use Edge Drop by navigating to edge://e-drop/ or clicking the icon in the sidebar. Edge Drop syncs with your account, and you should see the URL instantly.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

In current Microsoft Edge, webpage sharing is available through the built‑in Share feature and through Windows Nearby sharing, without manually copying and pasting the URL.

To share a webpage using Edge’s Share menu:

1. Open Microsoft Edge and browse to the page to share.
2. Select Settings and more (the three dots in the upper-right corner).
3. Choose Share.
4. From the share options that appear, pick the desired target (for example, mail or other available share targets provided by Windows or installed apps).

To share a webpage link with nearby Windows devices (Nearby sharing):

1. On both the sending and receiving PCs, turn on Nearby sharing:
   • Select Start > Settings > System > Nearby sharing.
   • Choose whether to share with Everyone nearby or My devices only.
2. On the PC to share from, open Microsoft Edge and go to the webpage.
3. In Edge, select Settings and more > Share > Windows share options, then select the nearby device.
4. On the receiving device, select Open when the notification appears to open the link in the browser.

These methods allow sharing webpages directly from Edge without manually copying and pasting the URL into email or text.
