Change the scrolling axis

I need to change/switch/reverse the function of my mouse wheel, so that by scrolling, the sheet moves horizontally without having to press CTRL + SHIFT. It would also be good if I could retain the vertical scroll function by pressing CTRL + SHIFT.

    Hello @LastWeek's Homework

Currently, Windows and Microsoft 365 applications do not support switching the mouse wheel’s default function from vertical scrolling to horizontal scrolling.

You can scroll horizontally using the supported methods below:

    • Hold "Shift" while scrolling to move left or right.
    • Use a mouse that has a "tilt wheel" (you may look for this type of mouse on the market).
    • Press and hold the mouse scroll wheel (middle button), then move the mouse horizontally or vertically without using any key combinations (recommended). I have tried it successfully in my Excel sheet.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

    Wishing you a productive workday!
