This forum is just a user to user forum, no-one here has any account access, using any Microsoft account you may have, try using the steps they provide on this link to find out what that payment was for.

Then use the steps they provide on this link to cancel whatever that payment was for and get a refund.

If you are still unable to resolve that payment problem, you will need to contact Microsoft Support directly, try using this method to contact their support.

    Go to this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus

    Select Microsoft 365

    Click 'Get Home Support'.

In the box provided, type billing.

Press Enter, then on the next page, scroll down and click 'Sign in to Contact Support'.

Navigate to Microsoft 365 and Office - Manage my Subscription.

Select the 'Chat with support agent in web browser' option

To dispute an unexpected Microsoft charge and request a refund, use the Microsoft account billing tools and then contact support if needed.

    1. Go to the Microsoft account services page: https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account used for Microsoft 365 Basic.
    2. In Services & subscriptions, review all listed subscriptions and their billing history to identify any Microsoft subscription or charge matching Rs.8199 on 12 March 2026.
    3. If a subscription is found that should not be active:
      • Select Manage next to that subscription.
      • Select Cancel (or Upgrade or Cancel) and follow the on-screen steps to complete cancellation.
    4. After cancellation, check refund eligibility:
      • For Microsoft 365 or other Microsoft subscriptions purchased directly from Microsoft, refunds are only available in certain situations and regions. Not all cancellations result in a refund.
      • If located in Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Korea, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, or Turkey, there may be entitlement to a prorated refund depending on subscription length and local rules.
    5. If the charge does not correspond to any visible subscription, or appears fraudulent:
      • Go to the Manage your payments area of the Microsoft account dashboard to investigate the charge details.
      • If the charge is still not recognized, use the Contact Support option: go to Contact Microsoft Support, describe the unrecognized Rs.8199 charge, and request investigation and a refund.
    6. If the subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, Google Play, Apple App Store, Amazon, or another reseller) instead of directly from Microsoft:

If there is also a valid Microsoft 365 Basic subscription at Rs.1499/year due in April 2026, ensure only that subscription remains active and cancel any additional or duplicate subscriptions found.
