    Hi Mighty Man

Based on my research, this issue typically arises if the phone number has already been linked to another Developer Program account or has exceeded the permitted number of verification attempts

I also found that some users have experienced the same issue, and a practical workaround is to delete the existing Developer Program profile associated with that number or use a completely different phone number to complete registration. You can refer to this thread:

Error 50001 when signing upto 365 Developer Suite - Microsoft Q&A

Additionally, if switching to a new phone number does not resolve your issue, you can consider reaching out to Microsoft Developer Support. Requests related to the Developer Program are generally managed through the Services Hub (Services Hub depends on your organization’s support agreement and may require a paid support plan. Before submitting a request, review the Services Hub sign-in FAQs to understand eligibility and sign-in requirements).

I also hope you understand that this forum is a peer-to-peer community, so while members can share advice and experiences only, we do not have access to Microsoft’s internal developer systems, so I am unable to directly resolve this issue for you.

    I hope this information helps!
