    Did the Groupon seller send you a Microsoft product key, or instructions to redeem it on a third-party site first?

    Have you already tried redeeming it at setup.office.com? If yes, what error message do you see?

    Also keep in mind: some Groupon listings are reseller keys, and sometimes they require redeeming through the seller before Microsoft accepts the key.
