Hello Verma,
Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!
Based on your query of how to fix YouTube thumbnail not showing. Well! You can try the following suggestions to get it fixed.
- One of the possible causes might be ad-blockers or privacy extensions. Since YouTube’s anti-ad-block scripts might accidentally hide thumbnails. Try opening YouTube in an Incognito/Private window. If thumbnails show up there, one of your extensions is the problem. Disabling your ad-blocker for YouTube specifically and refresh. If that works, check for an update to the extension's filter lists.

- In some cases, "Restricted Mode" might hide thumbnails because it incorrectly flags them as inappropriate. Click your Profile Picture at the top right of YouTube. Scroll to the bottom of the menu and ensure Restricted Mode is set to Off.
- The last suggestion is to reset DNS settings by flushing DNS by opening your computer's terminal (CMD or Terminal) and run the command ipconfig /flushdns to see if it works. If not. Try switching your device's DNS to Google's Public DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4). Go to Control Panel, select Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center. On the left side, click Change adapter settings. Select Your Network by right-clicking on the active network connection (e.g., Wi-Fi or Ethernet). Choose Properties. In the list, scroll down and select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Click Properties. You will see the setting as below screenshot.

If none of the above work, you can consider to use a VPN to see if it is a regional server issue.
