In the MTR tap console, the calendar is appearing but not in the monitor.

We verified the below:

1.
Connect a keyboard temporarily.

Press Windows + P

Choose Extend

2.Room PC and monitor are connected with an HDMI cable.

3.Restart did not fix.

Note: On the monitor, it shows only the time, date, and display name. But in the tap console, it shows time, date, display name, and calendar.

Requirement is to show the calendar on the monitor also.

    Dear @Sai krishna,

Thank you for confirming the troubleshooting steps you have already taken, including verifying the HDMI connections and attempting the "Extend" display setting.

I understand that the calendar appears on your Logitech Tap console but remains hidden on the front-of-room monitor. Based on the current design of Microsoft Teams Rooms, the front-of-room display typically only shows the "Landing Page" (time, date, and room name) by default. As a temporary measure to see if we can force the interface to mirror correctly, please try the following:

    • Connect the keyboard to the Room PC
    • Press Windows + P.
    • Instead of choosing "Extend," select Duplicate.

Note: While "Extend" is the standard requirement for MTR dual-display functionality, switching to "Duplicate" can sometimes force the console's UI elements onto the main monitor. Please test this to see if it meets your immediate visibility needs.

Next Steps & Official Support If the workaround above does not achieve the expected result, I recommend the following:

Please ask your IT Administrator to raise an official support ticket via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. Because my role as a community moderator does not provide me with the remote-access tools necessary to test or manipulate your specific hardware environment, a dedicated technical support engineer will be better equipped to help. They can initiate a screen-sharing session to guide you through advanced XML configurations or firmware adjustments directly.

I apologize that I cannot resolve this directly through this forum, but involving the specialized technical department is the most reliable way to address this specific display behavior.

On Microsoft Teams Rooms, the behavior described matches the expected dual‑display layout and certification requirements.

Key points from the product behavior and guidance:

    1. In a dual display configuration, the primary front-of-room display (mounted on the right) shows the calendar.
    2. The extended display (mounted on the left) shows date/time, room name, and shared content.
    3. If the calendar is not appearing on the room display but only on the touch console, the layout or display role is likely misconfigured.
    4. For certified dual display setups:
      • A touch console is required.
      • Only one of the two front-of-room displays can be touch-enabled.

To correct the layout so the calendar appears on the room display:

    1. Confirm dual display mode is enabled for the room system:
      • Teams Rooms on Windows: In the Pro Management portal, go to Settings > Device > Dual monitor mode and ensure it is enabled.
      • Teams Rooms on Android: In Teams Admin Center, go to Configuration profiles > General > Dual display mode and set it to On.
    2. Ensure the displays are mounted and assigned correctly:
      • The primary display (calendar) must be on the right side.
      • The extended display (date/time, content) must be on the left side.
    3. If content (calendar vs. date/time) appears on the wrong display, use Swap screens:
      • Teams Rooms on Windows
        • Temporary (current meeting only): During a meeting, open the layout switcher and select Swap screens.
        • Persistent: In the Pro Management portal, go to Settings > Device > Dual monitor mode and use Swap screen, or on the device: Home screen > Settings > Device > Swap screen.
      • Teams Rooms on Android (persistent only): In Teams Admin Center, go to Configuration profiles > General > Dual display mode > Swap screens.
    4. If one of the displays shows a black/blank screen or is not detected, follow the display health troubleshooting for Teams Rooms devices to ensure the HDMI-connected monitor is recognized and healthy.

Once dual display mode is correctly configured and the primary/extended roles are set (and swapped if needed), the calendar will appear on the correct front-of-room display instead of only on the touch console.
