Feature Request: "Legacy Colors" or "System Classic" Theme for Process Explorer 17.x

Hi Mark and the Sysinternals Team,

First of all, I updated today from the old 16.43 version and wanted to thank you for the amazing work on the v17 update, I love the new features!

However, for users who use advanced system-wide skinning tools (like Stardock Window Blinds Gdi Hooks), the new hardcoded "Light/Dark/System" themes bypass our system colors. As you see in the comparison from version 16 and 17 in the image, the white color at the top and in the process context menu doesn't fit with the 17 version.

Would it be possible to add a "Legacy / System Colors" option? This would allow the UI to inherit colors from the classic Windows APIs again, ensuring that Process Explorer fits perfectly into customized desktop environments (like Windows 10/11 with legacy color modifications).

Greetings!

Process Explorer 17.x currently exposes only the built-in Light, Dark, and System themes. The available documentation describes these themes and the tool’s capabilities but does not document any option to revert to legacy, system-color–driven rendering or a “classic” theme mode.

The request for a “Legacy / System Colors” theme is therefore a product feature request that is not available in the current version. To have this considered, it needs to be submitted as feedback to the Sysinternals team so it can be evaluated for a future release of Process Explorer.
