Why am I constantly told that my password is incorrect when I sigh on?

This is not a community issue, this is for Microsoft explicitly!! Why do you keep saying my password is incorrect when I sign on and I know it is correct???,

Hi! Is this happening in a Microsoft app, or only in Outlook on the web? If you also cannot sign in at Outlook.com, In that case, please use Microsoft’s official password recovery process :

To try and clarify, I go to log into Outlook on the Web and sometimes, no problemo. Other times I am told that I have had too many attempts AND then I try again, because I had tried only once and I get in?????? There is something wrong with the machine, there is more than human error here!!

Please try the options below:

Clear cookies and cache in your browser, then close and reopen the browser and try again.

Try a Private/InPrivate window in Microsoft Edge. If your account has a secondary alias (additional sign-in email/phone), try signing in with that alias instead of the primary one.

Test on a different network (for example, a mobile hotspot). If possible, you can also temporarily use a VPN just to test whether the issue is network-related.
