In Teams, I added a logo as my background, but it is backwards. How do I change it so that I can read it?

It's ok, it's backwards (mirror) just for you, not for others. It's default because it looks more natural to see yourself like in the mirror. However, if it annoys you, go to settings, devices, and turn off "mirror my video".

Teams mirrors the self-view video so it looks natural while presenting, which makes logos and text appear reversed only to the person using that camera. Other participants see the logo the correct way around.

There is no need to change the background image itself in Teams. To confirm how others see it, use Preview when changing your background, or ask someone in the meeting to confirm that the logo appears correctly on their side.

If the logo is actually reversed in the file, edit the image in an image editor (flip it horizontally) and then upload it again as a custom background:

    1. In a meeting, select More actions > Video effects and settings.
    2. Select Video effects.
    3. Choose Add new and upload the corrected image (.JPG, .PNG, or .BMP).
    4. Use Preview, then Apply.
