Paid for Windows Office 2019 and installed but can't access?

Hello,

I paid for and installed Microsoft Office 2019 for Mac but am only being given the option for view only with the suggestion to "activate Microsoft 365". How to troubleshoot?

    To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Where did you purchase Office 2019? Microsoft Store or another website?
    2. What macOS version are you using? (Some builds can affect activation.)
    3. Are you able to see your Microsoft Office 2019 under the Services & subscriptions page here: https://account.microsoft.com/services (make sure you’re signed in with the same Microsoft account you used to activate Office)?
