Right-click the Speaker icon.
Click Sound settings.
Scroll down → click More sound settings.
Go to the Recording tab.
Double-click your Microphone.
Open the Listen tab.
Uncheck → “Listen to this device.”
Click Apply → OK.

it happened randomly one day and cant change it when i speak through the microphone i can hear it in my ears its never done it before only within the past couple months its done it how do i change this?

The microphone sound being played back in the ears is usually caused by “mic monitoring”/“listen to this device” or similar input monitoring being enabled. On a Surface Laptop with Windows, this can be changed in the sound settings.
Try these steps:
If the issue started recently and persists, also try turning off any special Audio enhancements for the input device in Sound settings and test again.
