Thanks for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum. From your description, I understand that the left column in Outlook.com, with folders such as Inbox, Sent, and Deleted Items is missing, and you would like to restore it.

• Refresh the Outlook.com page (https://outlook.live.com), sign out, and then sign back in to your account.
• Switch to a different browser or open a private/incognito window and sign in again to rule out a browser cache or extension issue.
• Reduce the browser zoom level to 100% and ensure the window is maximized, as a narrow screen width can automatically hide the folder list.
• Temporarily disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers or UI modifiers and reload Outlook.com.

Is this the web version via www.outlook.com?

If so, go to View > Folder pane >Folder List > Show.

In Outlook.com on the web, the folder list (with Inbox, Sent, Deleted Items, etc.) can be hidden and shown again.

Try the following:

1. Look at the left side of the Outlook.com window.
2. If only message list is visible and no folders, find and select the Show Navigation Pane button (an icon that expands the left pane).
3. Once selected, the left navigation pane should reappear, showing Inbox, Sent Items, Deleted Items, and other folders.

If the folders are there but specific messages seem missing (for example from Inbox or Deleted Items), check:

• Other tab next to Focused Inbox, in case messages were moved there.
• Deleted Items folder and use Restore or Move to folder → Inbox if needed.
• Recover items deleted from this folder at the top of Deleted Items to restore recently removed messages.

If the pane still does not appear or items are missing beyond what can be recovered, use Outlook.com Help to contact support from within the site.
