    Hello @Tina Garza,

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum. Thank you for reaching out with your question on restoring a deleted calendar.

After reviewing your scenario, the steps provided by the Q&A Assistant appear to focus on restoring calendar items (such as meetings or appointments) that may still be available in the Deleted Items or Recoverable Items folders. This approach can be helpful if the calendar events themselves were deleted and are still within the retention period.

As a recommended approach, you may try checking the Deleted Items folder and, if available, the Recover deleted items option to see whether any calendar entries can be restored.

However, if your intention was to restore the calendar itself (for example, a Birthday calendar or a calendar created using the Add calendar option in Outlook on the web), it’s important to note that Outlook does not currently provide a way to restore a deleted calendar container. In this case, the calendar would need to be recreated or re‑added, depending on the calendar type.

I completely understand how important this can be, and it’s a situation many others may run into as well. As sharing this kind of experience can be helpful for the product team when considering future improvements, I strongly recommend submitting your feedback through the Outlook · Community. Customer feedback plays an important role in influencing product enhancements, and your voice could help bring attention to a feature that many people would truly benefit from.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to share any additional details if you need further assistance.

Thank you again for your time and for raising this important usability concern.

In Outlook on the web, a deleted calendar or its events can often be restored if the items are still in Deleted Items or the Recoverable Items folder.

To restore deleted calendar items (meetings/appointments):

    1. In Outlook on the web, go to the Deleted Items folder.
    2. Look for the deleted calendar items (appointments/meetings).
    3. Select the items to restore.
    4. Choose Restore (or move them back to Calendar). The items will go back to their original calendar when possible.

If the items are no longer in Deleted Items:

    1. In the left pane, select the Deleted Items folder.
    2. At the top of the message list, select Recover items deleted from this folder.
    3. In the Recoverable Items list, select the calendar items to recover.
    4. Select Restore.

    Where recovered items go:

    • Calendar items recovered from Recoverable Items are restored to the original calendar if it still exists; otherwise, they are placed in the default calendar.

If the deleted calendar itself was a public folder calendar in Exchange Online and items were deleted from it:

    1. In Outlook, under Public Folders, select the public calendar folder.
    2. Select Recover Deleted Items.
    3. Select the items to restore, ensure Restore Selected Items is selected, and select OK.

If the calendar or its items are not present in Deleted Items or Recoverable Items, and the retention period has passed, they are likely permanently deleted and cannot be restored by the user; an administrator may still be able to help depending on organization policies.
