Hello Vicki Burgess, welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

After 5 days with nothing, this needs Microsoft Support to look into your service order directly.

Just to be sure first—double-check your spam/junk folder and go to account.microsoft.com/devices > your Surface Laptop > Check Status to see if there's a "Print shipping label" button.

If still nothing, contact Microsoft Support directly at https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact. They can manually resend the label or clarify the shipping method for your order.

Alternatively, Australia has Surface Authorized Service Providers where you can bring the device in person for warranty service: Find Surface Authorized Service Providers in Australia

The service order and shipping label are managed through the Microsoft account device portal, and there can be a short delay before the order appears.

    Take these steps:

    1. Go to Microsoft account | Devices and sign in with the same Microsoft account used to create the service order.
    2. Select the Surface Laptop associated with service order 2045148118 and expand the device details.
    3. Next to Service Orders, select Check status.
    4. On the service order page:
      • Confirm the order status (for example, Your order is created, Your package is on its way to us, etc.).
      • To get or re‑get the label, select print shipping label; this is also where the tracking number is shown.
    5. Check the email inbox (and junk/spam folder) for the account used on the order; the label is sent by email in many regions.

If the order is visible but there is still no option to print a shipping label, or the order is not visible at all after this time, contact Microsoft Support for Surface in Australia or use an in‑person/authorized service option:

    • In some regions (including Australia), courier pickup or local drop‑off may be used instead of an emailed label; any such alternative and its instructions will appear during the repair order process.
    • Australia also has Surface Authorized Service Providers; before visiting, back up data and bring proof of purchase. Warranty status can be verified using the device serial number.

If the device is under warranty and the order is valid, once the label or shipping method is available, pack the Surface carefully following Microsoft’s packing instructions and send it in so a refurbished replacement can be issued if needed.
