Based on your description, you are not able to use your MacBook camera because an error message says it is being used on another device. Usually, when this happens, it means that another app on your computer is currently using the camera, or it was using it and did not shut down properly.
I would recommend fully quitting all of your apps and restarting your computer to see if the issue persists. You can press Command + Q to quit any open applications.
If the issue persists, please take a screenshot of the error message and share it for further investigation.
